Cookie Policy

Last updated: 15 July 2026

This Cookie Policy explains what cookies and similar technologies flipsidepromotions.com uses, why we use them, and how you can control them.

1. What are cookies

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work, work more efficiently, and to provide information to the site owner. Similar technologies (such as local storage) can be used for the same purposes and are covered by this policy.

2. Cookies we use

We keep cookie use to a minimum and rely mainly on strictly necessary cookies required to run the Services:

  • Authentication and session cookies — set when you log in to the DJ portal or admin area, so we can keep you securely signed in. These are essential and cannot be switched off if you want to use those areas of the site.
  • Payment and fraud-prevention cookies — set by Stripe during the checkout process for radio membership packages, to process your payment securely and detect fraudulent activity. These are set by Stripe, not by us directly, and are essential to completing a purchase.
  • Security and bot-prevention cookies — on certain forms, Cloudflare Turnstile may use cookies or similar technologies where technically necessary to help us distinguish legitimate visitors from automated or malicious traffic. These are set for website security and fraud-prevention purposes only — we do not classify or use them as marketing or analytics cookies. See our Privacy Policy for more detail.

3. Analytics

We use Plausible Analytics to understand how visitors use the site. Plausible is a privacy-friendly analytics tool that does not use cookies and does not collect or store any personal data that could identify you individually — it does not track you across websites or build an advertising profile. Because Plausible does not use cookies, it does not require cookie consent under UK/EU cookie rules (PECR).

4. Third-party cookies

Where you interact with an embedded third-party feature — such as our radio player embed or a Stripe checkout page — that third party may set its own cookies in line with its own cookie and privacy policies, which we encourage you to review. We do not currently use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

5. Managing cookies

Most web browsers let you control cookies through their settings, including blocking or deleting them. Because the cookies we set directly are strictly necessary for logging in and making payments, blocking them may prevent parts of the Services — such as the DJ portal or radio membership checkout — from working correctly. You can find out more about managing cookies at aboutcookies.org.

6. Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy as the Services change, for example if we introduce new features that use cookies. We will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page when we do.
