The Prodigy have finally revealed the purpose behind BLK.ANT, the band's previously mysterious side project, and it's not music at all. The platform's debut release is a pair of handcrafted wired earphones, built in partnership with British audio company Flare Audio.
According to the announcement, the earphones were developed over more than two years, a collaboration between Prodigy mastermind Liam Howlett and Flare co-founder and inventor Davies. The lengthy development timeline suggests a hands-on, detail-focused approach to the product's design and engineering.
With BLK.ANT now unveiled as a non-music ventures platform, this earphone launch marks the first tangible output from the project, positioning The Prodigy's creative reach beyond the studio and into audio hardware.
